Event logs do not get replicated between computers. As a result, an organization's change audit trail is fragmented across multiple computers. So, IT admins have to configure Windows Event Forwarding (WEF) to read logs on any computer and forward the events they choose to one or more Windows Event Collector (WEC) servers.
